Believe it or not--Inside Higher Ed reports on a cataloging topic! The article is a basic summary of the LC series decision with references to the Karen Calhoun report and Thomas Mann's rebutal.
How OCLC will change record loading protocals, etc. to allow fuller versions of records to remain in the database, and not be overwritten by LC records with untraced series. Libraries will also be allowed to change series in LC records to match series authority records.
