Getting Started
You can tag many library-provided resources (e.g., catalog records, article citations, article search engines) simply by clicking the "Add to PennTags" icon from the resource itself, but tagging webpages on the open web requires a bookmarklet. The bookmarklet is a link you add to your browser's Bookmarks section/toolbar. Clicking on it lets you post your item to PennTags.
Follow the directions below, according to which browser you use.
Firefox Users

Drag this link to your bookmarks toolbar:
PennTags

Bonus for Firefox users: Penn Library has a toolbar that you can install for your browser. The toolbar has a yellow tag on the right side for adding to Penntags. It does the same thing as the individual bookmarklet (above).

Microsoft Internet Explorer Users:

Right click on the link below and click "Add to Favorites".
Add to Penntags

Once you have added the bookmarklet to your browser, follow the instructions for Adding to PennTags and you're all set!
