Managing PennTags
How do I edit a post?
Once you've added a post to PennTags, you may want to change the tags you assigned or the description you wrote. If you've just added the post, it will likely be near the top of the list of recently added posts on the main PennTags page. Otherwise, you'll want to go to your tag space on PennTags (i.e., http://tags.library.upenn.edu/yourPennKey). Next to each of your posts, you'll see Edit, Delete, and Project options. (If you don't, that means you aren't signed in. You can do that in the upper right corner of the screen.) Click on the Edit link for the post you want to change. The posting box will open. Make your changes. Submit by clicking the Add to PennTags button at the bottom of the screen. To view the changes you made, refresh the screen (your PennTags tag space or the general PennTags page). The edited post will move to the top of the list.

How do I delete a post?
To get rid of a post, you must be signed in to PennTags. Next to each of your posts, you'll see Edit, Delete, and Project options. If you don't, that means that you either aren't signed in or you aren't looking at your own posts. Go to your tag space (i.e., http://tags.library.upenn.edu/yourPennKey) to see all of your posts. Click on the Delete link for the post you want to remove. It will disappear. Be certain you want to delete it, because there is no going back.

How do I view all my tags?
To see all the tags you've used, go to your tag space (http://tags.library.upenn.edu/yourPennKey). On the right-hand side of the page, you'll see your tag cloud. To see a list of all your tags, click on the View All Tags link at the top of the cloud.

How do I copy someone else's post?
Once you are signed in, you will see a Copy option next to everyone else's posts. Click on Copy. The posting box will pop open. The existing tags and description are imported automatically, but feel free to change them to make them more meaningful for you. Submit the post by clicking on the Add to PennTags button at the bottom of the posting box. You now own the post, too. (Note that doing this doesn't alter the other person's post in any way.)
