Unlike many car donation services or charities, the tax law favors car donations to Vehicles For Change due to exceptions to the law that took place in 2005. This is possible since we resell the vehicle for less than its market value and pay for any repairs. For example, if you donate a '96 Honda Accord to us, you may be able to deduct as much as $4,200.
