CAB Abstracts
1973- . CAB ABSTRACTS is a database service with international coverage of veterinary medicine, agriculture, forestry and related bio-science fields, including: urban planning, urban development, environment, urban environment, ecology, human ecology, resource management and conservation, as well as: human health; human nutrition; and animal health. The database includes over 3 million records with 30% of the coverage relating to crop production, 24% in veterinary and human health, 13% in animal sciences, 13% in crop protection, and 19-20% of the content covering a wide array of other, related topics. The database includes abstracts for over 95% of the records that are culled each year from over 14,000 serial titles, books, monographs, technical reports, proceedings, patents, bibliographies, translated journals and published theses. Covers 1973 to the present. Updated monthly.
Energy Citations Database
1973- . The Energy Citations Database was developed by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) to improve access to Departmental and predecessor agency scientific and technical information. The database contains bibliographic records for energy and energy-related scientific and technical information from the Department of Energy (DOE) and its predecessor agencies, the Energy Research & Development Administration (ERDA) and the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC).

International Bibliography of the Social Sciences
Description: Bibliographic citations and subject indexing for the international journal article and book literature in anthropology, economics, political science, and sociology. Produced by British Library of Political and Economic Science, London School of Economics and Political Science, with the support and assistance of International Committee for Social Science Information and Documentation and UNESCO. Sources: Articles from approximately 3700 journals are described, 2300 journals on a regular basis; more than 120,000 books and journal special-issue collections; book chapters and book reviews. Roughly one-third of covered journals are from outside North America and western Europe, drawing upon publications from over 105 countries and 95 different languages. Materials are mostly reflective of the holdings of the British Library of Political and Economic Science, and other University of London and London-based specialist libraries, including Institute of Commonwealth Studies, School of Oriental and African Studies.
