He said his opposition to a similar proposal in the 1990s while on the Council helped win him the job now.</p> <p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal">...</p><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"> </p><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal">Started by the Queens Chamber of Commerce last year, Keep New York City Congestion Tax Free is currently funded by private contributors.
