A demonstration of how PennTags can be used and re-used throughout a variety of systems.

This is a PennTags project that is used to demonstrate the use and re-use of content captured in this tool.

PennTags provides an HTML interface, an internal API interface, and an RSS feed interface that can be helpful in integrating content into other systmes.  The Penn Library has begun to use this capability as a sort of content management system that provides superior integration features.

This page from the Library's website contains a call to PennTags through the internal API to retrieve the 'Key Clinical Resources' content and render it on an otherwise hand coded page.

This is the same page as the hand-coded one above, but is rendered in a feed aggregation interface developed by the Penn Library.

As integration and standardization of widgets occurs, PennTags content can be easily exported to other frameworks like:
