The Corpus de la littirature narrative is the first volume of B.A.S.I.L.E. (Base internationale de Littirature Ilectronique). It was co-produced by the Iditions Honori Champion and the CNED - Ministhre de l'Iducation Nationale. This database offers to academic institutions (libraries, schools, universities, research centers, etc.) a digital library of about 1000 narrative works (novels, tales, short stories). The database is a virtual library that covers all the French programs from grammar school to university level. The specialist and the researcher will also find texts that were indexed and referenced according to the rules of scholarly editing.

A digitization project of the Bibliothhque nationale de France. "Gallica 2," in trial mode through 2008, includes 60,000 books and 80,000 images (all out of copyright) as well as "thousands" of in-copyright books by arrangement with the publishers. The new site contains a link to the "old" Gallica.
