From the Public Health Foundation (PHF) links to selected resources from Federal agencies, State Health Departments, state public health associations, national organizations such as the American heart Association, and other planning and policy resources.
National Institutes of Health (NIH) is comprised of 27 Institutes and Centers. The primary mission of this Federal agency is to conduct and support medical research that will improve people's health and save lives. It investigates methods for disease prevention, causation, treatment, and cures for common and rare diseases. All of these Institutes and Centers generate reports and data in their respective areas of expertise.
