Based on the Index deutschsprachiger Zeitschriften 1750-1815, this Web site provides access to the images 460,000 pages, or 82,000 articles from 45 German journals of the Enlightenment, digitized by the University Library Bielefeld.

The index covers approx. 170 German-language journals published between 1688-1784. The database currently includes approx. 70,000 reviews from 65 journals and is continuously updated. Journals are not covered in their entirety; some of the titles are: Allgemeine deutsche Bibliothek [incl. supplements]; Allgemeine historische Bibliothek; Göttingische Zeitungen von gelehrten Sachen; Litteratur- und Theater-Zeitung; Neue Bibliothek der schönen Wissenschaften; Niedersächsische Nachrichten; Philologische Bibliothek, among others.
